More impact, more action: The combined expertise of Resource Innovations and RHA enhances sustainable solutions.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (February 25, 2025) - Resource Innovations (RI), a leading tech-enabled services company focused on energy efficiency and sustainability, today announced it has acquired Richard Heath & Associates, Inc. (RHA), a California-based company with a 45-year history of providing underserved communities with equitable access to energy efficiency, energy resilience, and public health-related services. By combining their strengths, expertise, and reach, this united team is poised to drive more impact and more action, delivering energy and public health solutions to underserved communities.

RI Founder and Chief Executive Officer Lauren Casentini will work closely with RHA’s CEO, Cynthia Rafferty, who now serves as RHA President, to leverage the complementary capabilities of each company and drive even greater impact for their clients. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with RHA since the early days of my career and have seen firsthand the positive impact that their passionate team delivers to hard-to-reach communities,” said Casentini. “Adding their specialized expertise to RI’s offerings will provide our utility, government, and corporate clients unmatched depth to deliver energy efficiency, climate resilience, and public health and safety services to the communities that need them the most.”

Based in Fresno, CA, RHA designs and implements programs that expand access to vital services for hard-to-reach audiences. With deep-rooted industry and community relationships, the company delivers lasting and meaningful results to underserved communities. Together with RHA, Resource Innovations will expand its team to over 1,100 professionals, broadening expertise and offering clients additional solutions in energy storage and resiliency, water conservation, community engagement, and workforce development.

“Resource Innovations’ mission-driven culture aligns with the passion of our clients and staff to help underserved communities achieve energy resilience and improved health outcomes,” said Rafferty.  “Together, we look forward to scaling existing programs and increasing our collective impact.”
